This guy was one of a group who “joined” our tables. That’s not uncommon as the night wears on, and mostly we didn’t mind. We were all having fun. But these guys were drinking any beer left unattended, picking up cigarette packs left on the table, and (we heard) even tried to make off with a woman’s jacket!
